Sure, a hat is an absolute must on hot summer days – we all want to keep a cool head. But Ray not only protects the scalp, but also the ears and neck – precisely those places where the sun roasts kids when unimpeded.
Our sun hat is soft, comfortable, and fitted with an invisible feature: UV Protection Factor 50+*. Invisible? Sounds like a superpower (and it truly is), because with UPF 50+, the Ray sun hat is perfect for long hikes or endless days at the pool or beach. It dries so quickly that it’s also no problem if it stays on for a dip in the mountain lake or the pool.
*The UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) has been tested according to the European standard 13758-1 for proven effectiveness, corresponds to the SPF (Sun Protection Factor) in sunscreen, and protects the skin it covers from harmful UV radiation. But beware: Every superhero has her Kryptonite. If the product is very tight on a child, or if the fabric is stretched or wet, the UV protection can become less effective. Wear and tear, pool chemicals, and saltwater also diminish its protective powers over time.
