A mountain peak belongs to you only after you make it back down; until then, you belong to the mountain – so say experienced hikers, young and old. And what else do they say? Take enough to drink and an extra set of dry things, just in case. But how to transport them?
Exactly: with Leon, the bigger version of our trusty, beloved, completely waterproof Eon. Leon can gobble up a whole 20 liters worth of sandwiches, canteens, rain jackets, extra socks and marshmallows for toasting. He also has a reinforced back section; a large mesh pocket for wet things, collected stones or pinecones; and pre-formed straps so those 20 liters sit comfortably.
And once you’re back home and the mountain legitimately belongs to you, it’s a breeze to remove Leon’s lining to free him of crumbs and other scraps.
