When Grandad, from the heart of the Swiss Alps, talks about “Gnägi,” he means exactly this shirt: high-cut, long sleeved, with a collar and a short zipper in front. But unlike Grandad’s shirt, our Honu is made from the finest, mulesing-free Merino wool, so it performs not only for romps in the woods but all kinds of adventures.
It’s an ace in all seasons. In winter it’s a warming layer, so kids can galavant without chills at their throat even if they leave their jackets open. In summer, meanwhile, Merino’s winning qualities again save the day as it cools, quashes odors and dries quickly. This shirt works its magic equally on a treasure hunt as when sleeping out under the stars.
