This vest is the culmination of all our less-is-more endeavors: We craft it out of material remnants, and it can be worn with so many different pieces (over a T-shirt or long-sleeved shirt, or under a jacket). What’s more, whether kids are motivated by reasons of style or mess (no judgment), it can be reversed in a flash.
Reversed, it features big pockets to collect and stow all sorts of goodies. Then, presto chango, reverse it again, and the treasures disappear from curious eyes. With a small cord and an integrated secret compartment, even the tiniest and most treasured objects stay safe – even when the need for handstands and somersaults arises.
No matter what side it’s worn on: The vest’s soft PrimaLoft® Bio™ insulation, made 100% of recycled synthetic fibers and biodegradable*, keeps the body blissfully warm, while the reflective threads woven in all around ensure visibility from every side.
Note: *93.8% biodegradation in 646 days under ASTM D5511 conditions (accelerated landfill environment); 76.6% biodegradation in 973 days under ASTM D6691 conditions (accelerated marine/ocean environment); 17.8% biodegradation in 241 days under ASTM D5210 conditions (wastewater environment). The stated rate and extent of degradation do not mean that the product will continue to degrade.
